The BhooSarthi Whole Stick Three Row Sugarcane Automatic Cutter Planter is specifically engineered to automate every step of the sugarcane planting process. It encompasses various operations such as furrow creation, precise placement of fertilizers in rows, automated cutting of sugarcane sets, treatment of seeds at the cutting point, seamless deposition of sets into furrows with the desired overlap, pressurized pesticide spray on the sets within the furrow for soil treatment, and automatic coverage of planted sets—all accomplished in a single pass.

a) It is a tractor-mounted planter.
b) The planting process involves various tasks, such as opening furrows, placing fertilizers in rows, automatically cutting sets, treating seeds at the cutting point, dropping sets into furrows with desired overlap, applying pressurized pesticide/insecticide spray on the sets in the furrow for soil treatment, and automatically covering the planted sets in a single pass.
c) The cutting and fertilizer placement units are driven by power take-off (PTO).
d) The planter is equipped with a two-way moldboard-shaped furrower to efficiently open furrows.
e) A cane feeding mechanism is present, allowing the operator to manually feed whole sugarcane while the cutting of setts is automatically carried out by rotating blades.
f) Opposite face blades in an I-shape configuration are utilized to cut cane stalks at regular intervals of 13 inches. During the cutting process, the remaining cane stalks move forward at a constant velocity.
g) A horizontal metal pipe base serves as a stand for the chemical mix water tank, ensuring consistent application rates. Nozzles are positioned above the area from which the two-eye bud piece descends, enabling the direct application of liquid chemicals onto the setts.
h) The power drive system is simple and highly reliable, requiring minimal repairs and maintenance while providing a long lifespan.
i) This three-row planter can be drawn by any tractor with a minimum power output of 55 HP.
